Water Deironing Plant Installation in Terbuny, Lipetsk region, Russia.

A 12.5 m3/h pressure-type water deironing plant was installed in the town of Terbuny, Lipetsk region, Russia. The plant is designed for drinking water production and consists of "Kristall N" filtration modules, ultraviolet disinfection unit and pipelines. The iron removal filter and the disinfection unit are fully automated, so the plant needs just periodic maintenance.

A mud collecting filter is provided to ensure stable operation of the plant. There is also a bypass to put the filters and the disinfection unit out of the operation process.

The waste backwash water (max.1% of the plant flow) is discharged into the existing sewage system, max. once a week.

The plant is cleaned with water from a water tower, so there is no need for backwash pumps, and the plant power is 0.1 kW only.
